John Paul II Route (Wadowice)
Following the footsteps of holy pope John Paul II. The route begins in Lagiewniki Sanctuary – the basilica where pope JPII entrusted the world to the Divine Mercy. It is also the center of John Paul II and place where the relics of Saint Faustina are kept. Then to Kalwaria Zebrzydowka Monastery which future pope used to visit often as a priest. Here you will also see The Black Madonna painting.
Finally, the tour reaches Wadowice, the birthplace city of Karol Wojtyla. Where you can visit his family house, museum of John Paul II and try world famous, JPII’s favorite cream-cake (Kremówka).
